Beef Achar Gosht
Beef Achar Gosht is impossible to resist with its perfect blend of spices and delicious aroma. A traditional Pakistani dish, the combination of pickling spices certainly packs a punch. "Achar" means pickle and with this we bring you a unique but hearty dish to satisfy all of your taste buds.

Ingredients
The ingredients below will accommodate 2 servings
Ingredients:
1-2 lbs of beef cubes (beef chuck steak)
3 cloves of garlic
1 tsp of fresh ginger
2 tsp of plain yogurt
1/4 cup of pickling juice
1/4 cup of ghee butter or corn oil
1/4 cup of pickle juice
chopped cilantro
1 tsp of salt
2 tsp of Achar Gosht spices (chili, salt, cumin seed, coriander, mango, aniseed, fenugreek seed, turmeric, carom seed, mustard seed, fenugreek leaf)
2 ripe tomatoes
Optional: 4 hot peppers
Preparation
Step 1
Add the meat and ghee butter to a frying pan then add yogurt, garlic, ginger, pickling juice, salt, chili, and the spice mix. Cook for about 10 minutes on medium heat.
Step 2
Dice the tomatoes and cut the chilies. Add them to the pan and then add 1/2 cup of water. Cook for 20 minutes covered on medium heat.
Step 3
Garnish with cilantro and serve with white rice.
