Sayadieh (Rice & Fish)
An authentic Middle Eastern dish, Sayadieh, calls for warm spices, rice, white fish filet, tomatoes, and caramelized onions in its recipes. Top it with roasted nuts or raisins for an extra layer of tastiness.
Sayadieh is a hearty and healthy meal filled with protein, carbs, and a plethora of flavor. This rice and fish dish is versatile and can be made using many different types of fish. I love to use cod fillets for a lighter touch, but traditionally you will find this dish made with deep-fried whole fish.
